Robyn Eckhardt

Robyn Eckhardt is an Italy-based food journalist writing for the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Economist and Saveur. For her cookbook ‘Istanbul and Beyond’ (October 2017) she spent 16 months in Istanbul and eastern Turkey researching regional cuisines and collecting recipes from home and restaurant cooks. She lives in rural Piemonte, Italy with her husband David Hagerman, who photographed the book.
